Bitcoin eyes $81K as Nvidia earnings beat boosts risk assets (Cointelegraph)

Bitcoin rebounded above $80,000 and reached about $80,800 after Nvidia reported stronger-than-expected earnings, helping lift both U.S. stocks and crypto, as reported by Cointelegraph. Nvidia posted US $96.2 billion in quarterly revenue, nearly US $4 billion above expectations, while Bitcoin traders are now watching whether BTC can break above roughly $82,000, which analysts reportedly say could make a move toward US $85,000+ easier.

XRP Leads Crypto Pullback as Leverage Unwind Tests Rally (Decrypt)

XRP fell about 6.2% over 24 hours to around $1.38, leading losses among the 10 largest cryptocurrencies after a rapid rally pushed it from roughly $1.00 to nearly $1.70 in just a few days, as reported by Decrypt. Despite the pullback, XRP was still up about 35.6% over the past week, while XRP-linked ETFs had recorded nine straight days of net inflows, suggesting the drop may be more about traders unwinding leveraged positions than institutions exiting.

Ethereum developers propose first step to protect ETH staking from quantum attacks (CoinDesk)

Ethereum developers have proposed an early upgrade that would let new validators eventually use quantum-resistant security keys, helping protect staking from future attacks by powerful quantum computers, as reported by CoinDesk. Around 42.4 million ETH worth roughly $104 billion is currently staked using today’s signature system, and the Ethereum Foundation is targeting around 2029 for core quantum-resistant upgrades, though the proposal is still only a draft.
