Bitcoin steadies above $64,000 as traders watch $100 billion SpaceX unlock (CoinDesk)

Bitcoin held above $64,600 after buyers stepped in during an earlier dip toward $62,500, showing relatively stronger momentum than the broader crypto market, as reported by CoinDesk. Traders are also reportedly watching about $101 billion worth of SpaceX shares becoming tradable as a lockup expires; SpaceX itself held 18,712 BTC worth roughly $1.1 billion at the end of June. Meanwhile, other major tokens were mixed, with ETH slightly higher and XRP, BNB, and SOL trading lower.

Tether expands tokenization business into Saudi Arabia, starting with real estate (CoinDesk)

Tether is expanding its real-world asset tokenization business into Saudi Arabia, starting with institutional real estate, as reported by CoinDesk. Tether will provide the technology to turn real estate assets into blockchain-based tokens through its Hadron platform. The initiative could reportedly expand beyond property into areas such as energy and infrastructure, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s broader push to modernize its financial system under Vision 2030.

Western Union Launches Stablecard Visa Wallet for USDPT Stablecoin Spending Across 37 Markets (BitPinas)

Western Union is rolling out Stablecard, a digital wallet and Visa-backed card that lets users hold and spend the USDPT stablecoin, as reported by BitPinas. The service allows users to receive transfers as digital dollars and use their balance for everyday payments and will reportedly launch across 37 markets.
