PDAX Opens Primary Subscription for Philippines Retail Treasury Bond Tranche 32 (BitPinas)

PDAX has opened subscriptions for the Philippine government’s Retail Treasury Bond Tranche 32 (RTB 32) through the PDAX app, as reported by BitPinas. The 2.5-year bond is open from Sept. 29 to Oct. 7, 2026, offers an indicative annual interest rate of up to 6.875% paid quarterly, and requires a minimum of ₱5,000. Funds raised will support government programs in areas such as infrastructure, agriculture, social services, and economic development, with the bond set to mature on April 12, 2029.

Bitcoin fights for local uptrend as US bond yields drop from new 24-year highs (Cointelegraph)

Bitcoin traded around $85,000 as U.S. Treasury yields eased slightly after recently reaching their highest levels in about 24 years, as reported by Cointelegraph. Bitcoin was building a short-term upward trend, but analysts stated that it still needed to hold key support and push through nearby resistance before the recovery looked stronger. 

SEC proposes new crypto custody rules for investment advisers and funds (CoinDesk)

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has proposed new rules to clarify how investment advisers and regulated funds can safely hold clients’ crypto assets, as reported by CoinDesk. The proposal would indicate which firms can act as crypto custodians, what records and disclosures are required, and would even reportedly allow advisers to self-custody client assets in limited cases when no qualified custodian is available.
