Requirement

PDAX OTC is available exclusively to PDAX Prime clients.

  • Standard Hours: Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Philippine Standard Time (UTC+8:00)
  • Off-Market Hours: Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Philippine Standard Time (UTC+8:00)

PDAX OTC Trading Desk

A designated chat group is the primary communication channel and the primary method of communication for OTC trades.

Minimum Trade Size

  • PHP 1,000,000 or its equivalent in the relevant digital assets or fiat currency listed on the PDAX web and mobile exchange.
  • PHP 250,000 or its equivalent in the relevant digital asset or fiat currency for OTC-exclusive digital assets and fiat currency.

Pre-Funding

Your PDAX account must have sufficient digital assets or fiat currency before you submit an OTC order. Once you submit an order, the corresponding amount may be placed on hold while the trade is being processed. 

Trade Process Flow

  1. Send your order (or trade request) in the designated group chat, including the asset and amount. 
  2. PDAX provides a quote with the trading pair, amount, and settlement time, where applicable.
  3. Accept the quote within one minute from receiving the quote.
  4. Once accepted, PDAX confirms the trade and sends the trade details to your  PDAX registered email address.
    Note: The trade is considered confirmed once PDAX expressly confirms the trade after you accept the quote. 

Quotes

Quotes are provided only by authorized PDAX traders through the designated group chat.

A quote is valid for one minute unless PDAX marks it as “Off” earlier. If the quote expires, you’ll need to request a new one.

Once you accept a valid quote and PDAX confirms, the transaction becomes binding.

PDAX may cancel a trade if the quote contains an obvious pricing or amount error.

Trade Confirmation

After your trade is confirmed, PDAX will send a trade confirmation email with your transaction details to your registered email from trade@pdax.ph. 

Settlement

For confirmed trades, PDAX will debit the appropriate amount of digital assets or fiat currency from your PDAX Account, and  deliver the  appropriate amount of digital assets or fiat currency to you based on the schedule:

  • For trades confirmed during Standard Hours (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM), settlement would be completed within one (1) banking day (T+1).
  • For trades confirmed during Off-Market Hours (4:00 PM to 9:00 PM), settlement would be completed within two (2) banking days (T+2).

PDAX may allow Post-Trade Settlement (PTS). Clients must deposit the required funds or crypto by the deadline indicated in the trade confirmation, or within 2 hours of trade confirmation, if no deadline is provided. Late settlements incur fees and penalties (view fees and penalties here), and PDAX will deliver the sale proceeds to you following the schedule above, once PDAX receives the appropriate amount of digital assets or fiat currency. 

PDAX reserves the right to unwind, close out,  liquidate or cancel any executed trades or orders, restrict, suspend, or terminate your account, or apply and set off any fiat currency or digital assets held in your account against any outstanding settlement or payment obligation.

Crypto-In & Crypto-Out

Crypto deposits and withdrawals are available  through the PDAX mobile app and the PDAX web portal.

Terms and Conditions

The PDAX Terms and Conditions and all rules and policies incorporated therein by reference (pdax.ph/terms-and-conditions), shall govern your relationship with PDAX when creating, accessing, and using your PDAX Account through PDAX OTC.
