PDAX, RCBC Sign MOU to Expand Tokenized Gold Access Through Digital Banking (BitPinas)

PDAX and RCBC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop a digital asset infrastructure that explores tokenizations of different assets, with gold as the first under evaluation through RCBC’s mobile banking channels, as reported by BitPinas. The move is part of PDAX’s broader efforts to expand beyond standard cryptocurrency trading by offering access to tokenized government bonds, while RCBC builds on its existing push toward digital financial services.

Tether reports it has completed its first full financial audit, conducted by KPMG U.S., marking a step up from the quarterly reserve checks it had relied on before, as reported by CoinDesk. The audit found Tether’s reserves exceeded its liabilities by about US $6.8 billion at the end of 2025, and KPMG reportedly reviewed its transactions, systems, assets, and even physically inspected its gold bars.
